Mark Roden, Chairman
Mark joined Esat Telecom as it was being formed and was responsible for its commercial development until 1997. Esat won the second cellular licence in Ireland, listed on NASDAQ in 1997 and was sold to BT in 2000. In 2001 Mark founded easycash, a retail cash ATM operator, which deployed 500 in-store cash ATMs after it was acquired by Royal Bank of Scotland in 2004.
Mark set up Ding in 2006 and is fully engaged in expanding Ding globally. Mark has a degree in Marketing from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from IMD in Switzerland.
David Hargaden, Non-Executive Director
David is Executive Chairman of Unity Technology Solutions, a leading provider of managed technology services in Ireland. He is a former Non Executive Chairman of CarTrawler.com (sold to ECI in 2011), myHome.ie (sold to The Irish Times in 2006) and eWare (sold to Computer Associates in 2004). He was Managing Partner of Hargaden Moor, Chartered Accountants from 1992 to 2001 which was merged with BDO in 2001 where he was Head of Corporate Finance.
Ray Nolan, Non-Executive Director
Ray co-founded Web Reservations Ltd in 1999 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 2008, where he remains a director. Prior to WRI, Ray was the founder of a number of software companies including Raven Computing, which is acquired by Sage Group in 2003. Ray served as the Chairman and Director of Skyscanner.
Ray serves as the Chairman and Director of Global Medical Treatment Ltd. and Asavie Technologies Ltd. Ray is a serial I.T. entrepreneur and his awards include EY Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year 2003 and IIA Net Visionary 2006. Ray is qualified in Electronic Engineering at DIT.
